Munajat of the Beseechers of Intercession

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the Name of God, the All-Beneficent, the All-Merciful

إِلَهِي لَيْسَ لِي وَسِيلَةٌ إِلَيْكَ إِلا عَوَاطِفُ رَأْفَتِكَ وَ لا لِي ذَرِيعَةٌ إِلَيْكَ إِلا عَوَارِفُ رَحْمَتِكَ وَ شَفَاعَةُ نَبِيِّكَ نَبِيِّ الرَّحْمَةِ وَ مُنْقِذِ الْأُمَّةِ مِنَ الْغُمَّةِ فَاجْعَلْهُمَا لِي سَبَبا إِلَى نَيْلِ غُفْرَانِكَ وَ صَيِّرْهُمَا لِي وُصْلَةً إِلَى الْفَوْزِ بِرِضْوَانِكَ وَ قَدْ حَلَّ رَجَائِي بِحَرَمِ كَرَمِكَ وَ حَطَّ طَمَعِي بِفِنَاءِ جُودِكَ فَحَقِّقْ فِيكَ أَمَلِي وَ اخْتِمْ بِالْخَيْرِ عَمَلِي وَ اجْعَلْنِي مِنْ صَفْوَتِكَ الَّذِينَ أَحْلَلْتَهُمْ بُحْبُوحَةَ جَنَّتِكَ وَ بَوَّأْتَهُمْ دَارَ كَرَامَتِكَ،

My God, I have no means to You but the tender favours of Your kindness, and no way to You but the gifts of Your mercy and the intercession of Your Prophet, the Prophet of mercy, who rescues the community from distress. So make these two my cause for attaining Your forgiveness, and make them my link to winning Your good pleasure. My hope has settled in the sanctuary of Your generosity, and my longing has alighted in the courtyard of Your bounty. So fulfil my hope in You, seal my deeds with good, and place me among Your chosen ones, whom You have settled in the midst of Your Garden and lodged in the abode of Your honour,

وَ أَقْرَرْتَ أَعْيُنَهُمْ بِالنَّظَرِ إِلَيْكَ يَوْمَ لِقَائِكَ وَ أَوْرَثْتَهُمْ مَنَازِلَ الصِّدْقِ فِي جِوَارِكَ يَا مَنْ لا يَفِدُ الْوَافِدُونَ عَلَى أَكْرَمَ مِنْهُ وَ لا يَجِدُ الْقَاصِدُونَ أَرْحَمَ مِنْهُ يَا خَيْرَ مَنْ خَلا بِهِ وَحِيدٌ وَ يَا أَعْطَفَ مَنْ أَوَى إِلَيْهِ طَرِيدٌ إِلَى سَعَةِ عَفْوِكَ مَدَدْتُ يَدِي وَ بِذَيْلِ كَرَمِكَ أَعْلَقْتُ كَفِّي فَلا تُولِنِي الْحِرْمَانَ وَ لا تُبْلِنِي بِالْخَيْبَةِ وَ الْخُسْرَانِ يَا سَمِيعَ الدُّعَاءِ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ

whose eyes You have delighted with looking upon You on the day of meeting You, and to whom You have bequeathed the stations of truthfulness in Your nearness. O You, than whom visitors come to none more generous, and than whom seekers find none more merciful! O best of those with whom a lonely one is alone, and O kindest of those with whom an outcast takes refuge! To the breadth of Your pardon I have stretched out my hand, and to the hem of Your generosity I have fastened my palm. So do not make deprivation my lot, and do not afflict me with disappointment and loss. O Hearer of supplication! O Most Merciful of the merciful!
