Du'a al-Sahar

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ بَهَائِكَ بِأَبْهَاهُ وَ كُلُّ بَهَائِكَ بَهِيٌّ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِبَهَائِكَ كُلِّهِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ جَمَالِكَ بِأَجْمَلِهِ وَ كُلُّ جَمَالِكَ جَمِيلٌ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِجَمَالِكَ كُلِّهِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ جَلالِكَ بِأَجَلِّهِ وَ كُلُّ جَلالِكَ جَلِيلٌ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِجَلالِكَ كُلِّهِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ عَظَمَتِكَ بِأَعْظَمِهَا وَ كُلُّ عَظَمَتِكَ عَظِيمَةٌ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِعَظَمَتِكَ كُلِّهَا اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ نُورِكَ بِأَنْوَرِهِ وَ كُلُّ نُورِكَ نَيِّرٌ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِنُورِكَ كُلِّهِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ بِأَوْسَعِهَا وَ كُلُّ رَحْمَتِكَ وَاسِعَةٌ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ كُلِّهَا اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ كَلِمَاتِكَ بِأَتَمِّهَا وَ كُلُّ كَلِمَاتِكَ تَامَّةٌ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِكَلِمَاتِكَ كُلِّهَا.

O God, I ask You by Your splendour at its most splendid, and all Your splendour is splendid; O God, I ask You by all Your splendour. O God, I ask You by Your beauty at its most beautiful, and all Your beauty is beautiful; O God, I ask You by all Your beauty. O God, I ask You by Your majesty at its most majestic, and all Your majesty is majestic; O God, I ask You by all Your majesty. O God, I ask You by Your greatness at its greatest, and all Your greatness is great; O God, I ask You by all Your greatness. O God, I ask You by Your light at its most luminous, and all Your light is luminous; O God, I ask You by all Your light. O God, I ask You by Your mercy at its most encompassing, and all Your mercy is encompassing; O God, I ask You by all Your mercy. O God, I ask You by Your words at their most complete, and all Your words are complete; O God, I ask You by all Your words.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ كَمَالِكَ بِأَكْمَلِهِ وَ كُلُّ كَمَالِكَ كَامِلٌ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِكَمَالِكَ كُلِّهِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ أَسْمَائِكَ بِأَكْبَرِهَا وَ كُلُّ أَسْمَائِكَ كَبِيرَةٌ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَسْمَائِكَ كُلِّهَا اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ عِزَّتِكَ بِأَعَزِّهَا وَ كُلُّ عِزَّتِكَ عَزِيزَةٌ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِعِزَّتِكَ كُلِّهَا اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ مَشِيَّتِكَ بِأَمْضَاهَا وَ كُلُّ مَشِيَّتِكَ مَاضِيَةٌ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِمَشِيَّتِكَ كُلِّهَا اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ قُدْرَتِكَ بِالْقُدْرَةِ الَّتِي اسْتَطَلْتَ بِهَا عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَ كُلُّ قُدْرَتِكَ مُسْتَطِيلَةٌ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ كُلِّهَا اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ عِلْمِكَ بِأَنْفَذِهِ وَ كُلُّ عِلْمِكَ نَافِذٌ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ كُلِّهِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ قَوْلِكَ بِأَرْضَاهُ وَ كُلُّ قَوْلِكَ رَضِيٌّ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِقَوْلِكَ كُلِّهِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ مَسَائِلِكَ بِأَحَبِّهَا إِلَيْكَ وَ كُلُّهَا [وَ كُلُّ مَسَائِلِكَ ] إِلَيْكَ حَبِيبَةٌ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِمَسَائِلِكَ كُلِّهَا.

O God, I ask You by Your perfection at its most perfect, and all Your perfection is perfect; O God, I ask You by all Your perfection. O God, I ask You by Your names at their greatest, and all Your names are great; O God, I ask You by all Your names. O God, I ask You by Your might at its mightiest, and all Your might is mighty; O God, I ask You by all Your might. O God, I ask You by Your will at its most effective, and all Your will is effective; O God, I ask You by all Your will. O God, I ask You by Your power, by the power with which You prevail over everything, and all Your power prevails; O God, I ask You by all Your power. O God, I ask You by Your knowledge at its most penetrating, and all Your knowledge penetrates; O God, I ask You by all Your knowledge. O God, I ask You by Your word at its most pleasing, and all Your word is pleasing; O God, I ask You by all Your word. O God, I ask You by Your requests, by the most beloved of them to You, and all of them are beloved to You; O God, I ask You by all Your requests.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ شَرَفِكَ بِأَشْرَفِهِ وَ كُلُّ شَرَفِكَ شَرِيفٌ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِشَرَفِكَ كُلِّهِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ سُلْطَانِكَ بِأَدْوَمِهِ وَ كُلُّ سُلْطَانِكَ دَائِمٌ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِسُلْطَانِكَ كُلِّهِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ مُلْكِكَ بِأَفْخَرِهِ وَ كُلُّ مُلْكِكَ فَاخِرٌ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِمُلْكِكَ كُلِّهِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ عُلُوِّكَ بِأَعْلاهُ وَ كُلُّ عُلُوِّكَ عَالٍ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِعُلُوِّكَ كُلِّهِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ مَنِّكَ بِأَقْدَمِهِ وَ كُلُّ مَنِّكَ قَدِيمٌ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِمَنِّكَ كُلِّهِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ آيَاتِكَ بِأَكْرَمِهَا وَ كُلُّ آيَاتِكَ كَرِيمَةٌ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِآيَاتِكَ كُلِّهَا اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِمَا أَنْتَ فِيهِ مِنَ الشَّأْنِ وَ الْجَبَرُوتِ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ شَأْنٍ وَحْدَهُ وَ جَبَرُوتٍ وَحْدَهَا اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِمَا تُجِيبُنِي [بِهِ ] حِينَ أَسْأَلُكَ فَأَجِبْنِي يَا اللَّهُ.

O God, I ask You by Your nobility at its noblest, and all Your nobility is noble; O God, I ask You by all Your nobility. O God, I ask You by Your sovereignty at its most lasting, and all Your sovereignty is lasting; O God, I ask You by all Your sovereignty. O God, I ask You by Your dominion at its most glorious, and all Your dominion is glorious; O God, I ask You by all Your dominion. O God, I ask You by Your exaltedness at its most exalted, and all Your exaltedness is exalted; O God, I ask You by all Your exaltedness. O God, I ask You by Your favour at its most ancient, and all Your favour is ancient; O God, I ask You by all Your favour. O God, I ask You by Your signs at their most noble, and all Your signs are noble; O God, I ask You by all Your signs. O God, I ask You by the station and the omnipotence that are Yours, and I ask You by every station alone and every omnipotence alone. O God, I ask You by that through which You answer me when I ask You: so answer me, O God.
