Seeking intercession through the Prophet and his family (a); read on Tuesday night
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنّى أَسْئَلُكَ وَاَتَوَجَّهُ اِلَيْكَ بِنَبِيِّكَ نَبِىِّ الرَّحْمَةِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ يا اَبَاالْقاسِمِ يَا رَسُولَ اللّهِ يَا اِمامَ الرَّحْمَةِ يا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلينا إِنّا تَوَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا وَتَوَسَّلْنا بِكَ اِلَى اللّهِ وَقَدَّمْناكَ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ حاجاتِنا يا وَجيهاً عِنْدَ اللّهِ إِشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللَهِ.
O God, I ask You and turn to You through Your Prophet, the Prophet of mercy, Muhammad, God bless him and his family. O Abu al-Qasim, O Messenger of God, O Imam of mercy, O our master and our Master, indeed we have turned to God, sought intercession and sought nearness to Him through you, and we have placed you before our needs. O you who are held in honour with God, intercede for us with God.
يَا اَبَا الْحَسَنِ يا اَميرَ الْمُؤْمِنينَ يا عَلِىَّ بْنَ أَبيطالِبٍ يا حُجَّةَ اللّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِ يا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلينا إِنّا تَوَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا وَتَوَسَّلْنا بِكَ اِلَى اللَهِ وَقَدَّمْناكَ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ حاجاتِنا يا وَجيهاً عِنْدَ اللَهِ اِشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللَهِ.
O Abu al-Hasan, O Commander of the Faithful, O Ali ibn Abi Talib, O Proof of God over His creation, O our master and our Master, indeed we have turned to God, sought intercession and sought nearness to Him through you, and we have placed you before our needs. O you who are held in honour with God, intercede for us with God.
يا فاطِمَةَ الزَّهْراَّءُ يا بِنْتَ مُحَمَّدٍ يا قُرَّةَ عَيْنِ الرَّسُولِ يا سَيِّدَتَنا وَمَوْلاتَنا اِنّا تَوَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا وَتَوَسَّلْنا بِكِ اِلَى اللّهِ وَقَدَّمْناكِ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ حاجاتِنا يا وَجيهَةً عِنْدَ اللَهِ اِشْفَعى لَنا عِنْدَ اللَهِ
O Fatima al-Zahra, O daughter of Muhammad, O delight of the Messenger's eye, O our lady and our Mistress, indeed we have turned to God, sought intercession and sought nearness to Him through you, and we have placed you before our needs. O you who are held in honour with God, intercede for us with God.
يا اَبا مُحَمَّدٍ يا حَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِي اَيُّهَا الْمُجْتَبى يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ اللَهِ يا حُجَّةَ اللّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِ يا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلينا اِنّا تَوَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا وَتَوَسَّلْنا بِكَ اِلَى اللَهِ وَقَدَّمْناكَ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ حاجاتِنا يا وَجيهاً عِنْدَ اللَهِ إِشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللَهِ .
O Abu Muhammad, O al-Hasan ibn Ali, O Chosen One, O son of the Messenger of God, O Proof of God over His creation, O our master and our Master, indeed we have turned to God, sought intercession and sought nearness to Him through you, and we have placed you before our needs. O you who are held in honour with God, intercede for us with God.
يا أَبا عَبْدِاللَه يا حُسَيْنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍ أَيُّهَا الْشَّهيدُ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ اللَه يا حُجَّةَ اللَه عَلى خَلْقِهِ يا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلينا اِنّا تَوَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا وَتَوَسَّلْنا بِكَ اِلَى اللَهِ وَقَدَّمْناكَ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ حاجاتِنا يا وَجيهاً عِنْدَ اللّهِ اِشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللّهِ.
O Abu Abdillah, O al-Husayn ibn Ali, O Martyr, O son of the Messenger of God, O Proof of God over His creation, O our master and our Master, indeed we have turned to God, sought intercession and sought nearness to Him through you, and we have placed you before our needs. O you who are held in honour with God, intercede for us with God.
يا اَبَا الْحَسَنِ يا عَلِىَّ بْنَ الْحُسَيْنِ يا زَيْنَ الْعابِدينَ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ يا حُجَّةَ اللّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِ يا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلينا اِنّا تَوَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا وَتَوَسَّلْنا بِكَ اِلَى اللّهِ وَقَدَّمْناكَ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ حاجاتِنا يا وَجيهاً عِنْدَ اللّهِ اِشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللّهِ.
O Abu al-Hasan, O Ali ibn al-Husayn, O Zayn al-Abidin, O son of the Messenger of God, O Proof of God over His creation, O our master and our Master, indeed we have turned to God, sought intercession and sought nearness to Him through you, and we have placed you before our needs. O you who are held in honour with God, intercede for us with God.
يا اَبا جَعْفَرٍ يا مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَلِي اَيُّهَا الْباقِرُ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ يا حُجَّةَ اللّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِ يا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلينا اِنّا تَوَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا وَتَوَسَّلْنا بِكَ اِلَى اللّهِ وَقَدَّمْناكَ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ حاجاتِنا يا وَجيهاً عِنْدَ اللّهِ اِشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللّهِ.
O Abu Ja'far, O Muhammad ibn Ali, O al-Baqir, O son of the Messenger of God, O Proof of God over His creation, O our master and our Master, indeed we have turned to God, sought intercession and sought nearness to Him through you, and we have placed you before our needs. O you who are held in honour with God, intercede for us with God.
يا أَبا عَبْدِ اللّهِ يا جَعْفَرَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ أَيُّهَا الصّادِقُ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ يا حُجَّةَ اللّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِ يا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلينا اِنّا تَوَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا وَتَوَسَّلْنا بِكَ اِلَى اللّهِ وَقَدَّمْناكَ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ حاجاتِنا يا وَجيهاً عِنْدَ اللّهِ اِشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللّهِ،
O Abu Abdillah, O Ja'far ibn Muhammad, O Truthful One, O son of the Messenger of God, O Proof of God over His creation, O our master and our Master, indeed we have turned to God, sought intercession and sought nearness to Him through you, and we have placed you before our needs. O you who are held in honour with God, intercede for us with God.
يا أَبَا الْحَسَنِ يا مُوسَى بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ أَيُّهَا الْكاظِمُ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ يا حُجَّةَ اللّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِ يا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلينا اِنّا تَوَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا وَتَوَسَّلْنا بِكَ اِلَى اللّهِ وَقَدَّمْناكَ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ حاجاتِنا يا وَجيهاً عِنْدَ اللّهِ اِشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللّهِ،
O Abu al-Hasan, O Musa ibn Ja'far, O Forbearing One, O son of the Messenger of God, O Proof of God over His creation, O our master and our Master, indeed we have turned to God, sought intercession and sought nearness to Him through you, and we have placed you before our needs. O you who are held in honour with God, intercede for us with God.
يا أَبَا الْحَسَنِ يا عَلِىَّ بْنَ مُوسى أَيُّهَا الرِّضا يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ يا حُجَّةَ اللّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِ يا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلينا إِنّا تَوَجَّهْنا وَاسْتشْفَعْنا وَتَوَسَّلْنا بِكَ اِلَى اللّهِ وَقَدَّمْناكَ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ حاجاتِنا يا وَجيهاً عِنْدَ اللّهِ اِشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللّهِ
O Abu al-Hasan, O Ali ibn Musa, O Well-Pleasing One, O son of the Messenger of God, O Proof of God over His creation, O our master and our Master, indeed we have turned to God, sought intercession and sought nearness to Him through you, and we have placed you before our needs. O you who are held in honour with God, intercede for us with God.
يا اَبا جَعْفَرٍ يا مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَلِي اَيُّهَا التَّقِىُّ الْجَوادُ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ يا حُجَّةَ اللّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِ يا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلينا اِنّا تَوَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا وَتَوَسَّلْنا بِكَ اِلَى اللّهِ وَقَدَّمْناكَ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ حاجاتِنا يا وَجيهاً عِنْدَ اللّهِ اِشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللّهِ
O Abu Ja'far, O Muhammad ibn Ali, O God-fearing, Generous One, O son of the Messenger of God, O Proof of God over His creation, O our master and our Master, indeed we have turned to God, sought intercession and sought nearness to Him through you, and we have placed you before our needs. O you who are held in honour with God, intercede for us with God.
يا أَبَا الْحَسَنِ يا عَلِىَّ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ أَيُّهَا الْهادِى النَّقِىُّ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ يا حُجَّةَ اللّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِ يا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلينا إِنّا تَوَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا وَتَوَسَّلْنا بِكَ اِلَى اللّهِ وَقَدَّمْناكَ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ حاجاتِنا يا وَجيهاً عِنْدَ اللّهِ اِشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللّهِ
O Abu al-Hasan, O Ali ibn Muhammad, O Guide, Pure One, O son of the Messenger of God, O Proof of God over His creation, O our master and our Master, indeed we have turned to God, sought intercession and sought nearness to Him through you, and we have placed you before our needs. O you who are held in honour with God, intercede for us with God.
يا أَبا مُحَمَّدٍ يا حَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِي أَيُّهَا الزَّكِىُّ الْعَسْكَرِىُّ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ يا حُجَّةَ اللّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِ يا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلينا إِنّا تَوَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا وَتَوَسَّلْنا بِكَ اِلَى اللّهِ وَقَدَّمْناكَ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ حاجاتِنا يا وَجيهاً عِنْدَ اللّهِ اِشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللّهِ
O Abu Muhammad, O al-Hasan ibn Ali, O pure one, al-Askari, O son of the Messenger of God, O Proof of God over His creation, O our master and our Master, indeed we have turned, sought intercession and sought a means through you to God, and we have placed you before our needs. O you who are honoured in the sight of God, intercede for us with God.
يا وَصِىَّ الْحَسَنِ وَالْخَلَفَ الْحُجَّةَ اَيُّهَا الْقاَّئِمُ الْمُنْتَظَرُ الْمَهْدِىُّ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ يا حُجَّةَ اللّهِ عَلى خَلْقِهِ يا سَيِّدَنا وَمَوْلينا اِنّا تَوَجَّهْنا وَاسْتَشْفَعْنا وَتَوَسَّلْنا بِكَ اِلَى اللّهِ وَقَدَّمْناكَ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ حاجاتِنا يا وَجيهاً عِنْدَ اللّهِ اِشْفَعْ لَنا عِنْدَ اللّهِ
O successor of al-Hasan and the Heir, the Proof, O Riser, the Awaited, al-Mahdi, O son of the Messenger of God, O Proof of God over His creation, O our master and our Master, indeed we have turned, sought intercession and sought a means through you to God, and we have placed you before our needs. O you who are honoured in the sight of God, intercede for us with God.
يا سادَتى وَمَوالِىَّ اِنّى تَوَجَّهْتُ بِكُمْ أَئِمَّتى وَعُدَّتى لِيَوْمِ فَقْرى وَحاجَتى اِلَى اللّهِ وَتَوَسَّلْتُ بِكُمْ اِلَى اللّهِ وَاسْتَشْفَعْتُ بِكُمْ إِلَى اللّهِ فَاشْفَعُوا لى عِنْدَ اللّهِ وَاسْتَنْقِذُونى مِنْ ذُنُوبى عِنْدَ اللّهِ فَاِنَّكُمْ وَسيلَتى اِلَى اللّهِ وَبِحُبِّكُمْ وَبِقُرْبِكُمْ أَرْجُو نَجاةً مِنَ اللّهِ فَكُونُوا عِنْدَ اللّهِ رَجاَّئى يا سادَتى يا أَوْلِياَّءَ اللّهِ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ اَجْمَعينَ وَلَعَنَ اللّهُ أَعْداَّءَ اللّهِ ظالِميهِمْ مِنَ الاْوَّلينَ وَالاْخِرينَ امينَ رَبَّ الْعالَمينَ
O my masters and my Masters, indeed I have turned to God through you, my Imams and my provision for the day of my poverty and my need; I have sought a means to God through you and I have sought intercession with God through you. So intercede for me with God and rescue me from my sins before God, for you are my means to God, and through my love for you and my nearness to you I hope for deliverance from God. So be my hope before God, O my masters, O friends of God. God bless them all, and may God curse the enemies of God, those who wronged them, from the first to the last. Amen, O Lord of the worlds.
